My name is Tom Collier and I am the Head of School for West Lea Special Needs School in Edmonton. I write hoping you may be able to help with a request I have. At West Lea, our missing and ethos is all about becoming independent. We understand how important travelling on public transport is to our pupils as a gateway to independence. I have a dream of having a bus permanently on our site to enable pupils to become familiar with the protocols, rules and guidance needing to be adhered for everyday travel. These simple tings are executed seamlessly by the vast majority of London, but for our pupils this is a distant hope without our input and intervention.
