Notes

London Fire Brigade Plumstead Fire Station was constructed and opened in June 1907 to provide fire cover to serve the needs of the growing local community.

The station was awarded Grade II Listed Building status on 29 October 2009 due to its special architectural interest.

Due to the constraints of the current building, a proposal for planning permission was submitted to the Royal Greenwich Borough Council by the London Fire Brigade in late 2020.

This proposal includes a new appliance bay attached to the rear of the current station, along with a new drill tower and the refurbishment of the existing building. Details of the proposal can be found on the Royal Borough of Greenwich website.
