Notes

Chingford was constructed and opened by the Essex County Fire Brigade on 19th October 1957.

The new station was built to replace the former Chingford Fire Brigade Station located further along The Ridgeway, which was closed on the same day the new station opened, and was demolished shortly afterwards.

Operation of the station transferred from the Essex County Fire Brigade to the London Fire Brigade in 1965 following the formation of the Greater London Council.
