Notes

Hornchurch Fire Station was constructed and opened by the Essex County Fire Brigade in 1964.

The station was built to replace the existing structure, dating from 1907, located on Billet Lane (now Sainsbury’s car park).

The formation of the Greater London Council in 1965 saw a redrawing of the boundaries of London, with the station being one of a number transferred to the London Fire Brigade.
