Construction of Feltham Fire Station by the Middlesex Fire Brigade began in 1960 following the need to replace their existing station on Hanworth Road.

With the creation of the Greater London Council and the redrawing of boundaries, the Middlesex Fire Brigade and its stations were absorbed into the London Fire Brigade in 1965.
