Notes

Tooting Fire Station was constructed by the London County Council and opened in 1907.

This station was built to replace the 1868-built Metropolitan Fire Brigade station located on Balham High Road, which had become life-expired and was demolished.

The current station was awarded Grade II Listed Building status on 27th October 2009 as ‘a pleasing and well-composed LCC fire station in the Arts-and-Crafts manner’.
